Constructed in 1908, the home of Ristorante Antonio is one of Stark County's beautiful and historic landmarks. The structure stands essentially as it was built after the turn of the century. As the original restaurant owners, the Capaldi family preserved the original floor plan when remodeling the interior to meet the restaurant's needs. Remnants of the past include the original plaster and molded mantle over the livingroom fireplace.
To the Capaldi family, 4905 West Tuscarawas Street was a new beginning of service to the Canton community providing an eating place in a building of historical significance.
Now Antonio and his wife Kalene bring alive a wonderful tradition of authentic Italian food in this beautiful Canton landmark.
